Audio Engineer
Trained at The Blackbird Academy
I combined my passions for music and technology at famed Blackbird Studio, where I learned the fundamentals of audio engineering including analog signal flow, signal processing, editing, mixing, Pro Tools, session etiquette and much more!
After graduation, I was hired as an intern at Addiction Sound Studios where I continue to learn the art of recording. Assisting the house engineers with session setups/resets, line checks, mix prep, gear repair and more! I have also done work on the Addiction Studios website. I have been asked to stay on as part of the team after my internship is over.
Internship at Addiction Sound Studios
I was fortunate to stay on with the studio after my internship. I have spent my time building the new Mix and Atmos rooms, assisting on tracking days, mentoring new interns and continuing to hone my skills as an engineer and mixer. Through this work I have gotten Assistant Engineer credits on releases from artists such as John Oates, Mickey Guyton, Jason Derlatka and more!
